there is more beauty in your eyes than in the whole world _______________________
So it was around nine at night. It had rained alot earlier and well it just made for one hell of a night. The wind was a bit harsh tonight and the air a little to warm. Makes a great start to one stupid night. Well atleast she thought it was going to be stupid and boring. She had just moved here, got a job, got a place to stay, and still made no friends. Well the clubs were great place to meet people. Hopefully.
As she moved through the streets she smiled towards some passing people. Emerald eyes scanned her surroundings and well it was pretty nice. The lights of the city were what she hoped that were when she came here earlier in the day. What a place to be staying at. She lived a little ways from the club so instead of driving she took the bus and then walked some. The club looked like the place to be. Bottom lip was biten hard as she got inline. Arms were folded up against her chest as she stood there. Out of the corner of her eyes she could see guys looking at her but she just tuned it all out.
Moving up she smiled to the bouncer who just seemed to like her and well they just let her in. Hands slid down to her skirts pockets as moved inside. She was greeted with loud music and alot of dancing people. A small smile was placed on her lips as moved through the crowd of people to the bar. Sitting down she ordered a water. A guy came up to grab her hand but she shooed him off telling him later. Taking a drink from the water bottle she make sure to drink almost all of it before moving out onto the dance floor. Her waist was soon grab by a guy who she didn't bother to look at. Well she got a good glance at him and he was pretty hot. He had made sure he was right up against her and that no other guy was touching her. She really could care less about who she danced with for she only wanted a good him. Body was moving with the movements as she danced with the same guy who seemed to cling to her and well she wasn't really liking it.
Moving off she was quickly follow by the same guy but she told him later and he just stood there like a sad puppy. Moving towards the center of the floor she was quickly found another dancing partner but of her own choice. She was usually the shy one but why not be a little out there tonight. Emerald eyes sparkled from the lights as she danced. This was going to be some night.

It was the grand opening of Angel, and had apparently been expected and waited on for quite some time seeing as he'd seen two snippets in the local papers about it's opening to the public that night. He wasn't late, and had told his staff that he'd be there by 9:30, which was actually very early for a club to be completely taken over. But he walked from his personal parking spot right by the door to the bouncer, and was astounded by the crowds. The bouncer gave him a shrug of his large shouders as Drew made a 'what the hell?!' face to him, and was grabbed at roughly as he was walking closer to the door by an angry looking man standing in line. Turning around, his quick temper flared slightly as he frowned down at the hand on his arm. Hey man, you wanna be allowed IN this club, get your hands off of me. I run this joint, and I don't let in trouble. Pulling away, the man glared at him but let him go, though his comment didn't go unnoticed. Drew started getting swipes along his body, now from a majority of the girls, and he smiled as sincerely as he could, walking a little faster and squeezing behing the bouncer with a nod of his head to him.
Drew's ice blue eyes looked around inside, noticing why the line was moving so slowly behind him now. It was packed, dancers unable to move without grinding up against eachother, and the barstools filled with a good second and in some areas, third row of people piled up behind them and waiting in line. His jaw fell open for a second, losing what he'd taken awhile already to compose within himself for tonight. There were very few people who knew of his status here, but one of the women came up and greeted him warmly as he walked in. Patting her waist lightly, Drew smiled and excused himself to head to the bar. His features creased as he grew more serious, ready to take on the heat of the business.
Drew threw himself behind the counter, scooting in the middle of the two serving bartenders, and started grabbing orders up with them. Another comment from a slim female customer on his sudden appearance behind the bar, brought about a knowing phrase from his lefthand bartender. No no! He OWNS this place! C'mon, buy Drew a drink! Laughing, Drew was presented with a shot of an expensive Bourbon, and tipped it back quickly, setting the shotglass back onto the counter with a smile to the woman who'd paid for it and was now watching with keen interest. He was suddenly absorbed int he mix, taking orders, sending one of the tenders to barback and grab up and replace bottles quickly as they were needed, and the thin-lipped set of his mouth was often broke casually by the handsome smile as he still was able to carry on conversation with a few of the chattier customers at their seats. & Truly the only unreachable dream, Is the one you don't reach for ________________________
She continued to dance through the thick crowd. Everyone was right up against each other and the guys always putting their hands around her waist. She didn't mind it for it was less guys who had their hands all over her. She wasn't much into the grinding up hey whatever floats the guys boats. She had already introduced herself to the guy she was dancing with for he was really nice or atleast he seemed nice. Sam was usually stupid when it came to guys. She always jumped at a relationship the first time it came around but now she was a little more smart about what she did in her life. She liked to get to know a person before she dated them. She's already had her heart torn apart so she really didn't want that to happen again.
Eyes shut as the guy whispered something in her ear but she was wrong about him. He asked her to come to his place and with that she pushed him off of her. A nasty glare was sent in his direction. That was just horrible. Well okay he was hot and all but she wasn't a one night stand type of girl and would never be one. Moving through the crowd she was quickly grabbed again. This time she tried to push the guy off of her but it didn't work. Turning around to take a better look at the guy her smile grew. Gorgous. Nodding in approval she moved with his own body. Arms wrapped gently over his shoulders as his hands were at her thin waist. He seemed nice enough but she wasn't going to let her guard down on one single guy.
As the music kept going she began to drow tired. As she pulled away from the guy he was quick to follow but she turned around to only tell him she needed a drink. He didn't leave her side though for he didn't wanna lose his dancing partner. Rolling her emerald eyes she moved towards the bar. The amount of people was just amazing but as a free stool was given she was quick to take it. The guy came around to wrap his arms around her waist and to bring his lips to her neck. Turning again she pushed him away.
" Get off me you pig. "
Was her nasty reply as he looked her in the eyes and moved off. She was so tired of guys just wanting her body for sex. It was so annoying and so retarded. Heaving a small sigh she shook her head. Black locks were pushed from her face as she turned around. Hands were placed at the back of her neck as she sat there waiting for her order to be taken. This night was going to end soon for she couldn't and wouldn't put up with another guy trying to take her home.

He was busy serving still, as it got even more busy than it had been before. Drew picked up his handheld from the loop of his belt, and turned around to speak quietly to the bouncer up front. Turning back around towards the counter, he was bombarded again by orders and started calling to the barback for various liquors and shooters, assembling them together and sliding them out to their respective places.
One woman stood up and reached over the bar, putting a high $20 underneath the collar of his shirt with a seductive smirk. Drew flashed his eyes upward, probably the first time he showed his own face away from the liquor cabinet beneath the counter, those icy blue eyes gleaming onto the woman's as he smiled politely and leant away again, removing the bill and placing it into the tip jar by the register.
Without looking up, he heard a younger voice, irritated and aggravated, reprimand a male. Drew pursed his lips together and stood up, his eyes lifting and a small crease between his brows. He flattened both palms onto the bartop, arms locked and straightened as he looked at the guy over the top of her head. There a problem here man? She said back off. It was quick, the only real time he'd taken away from his lineup at the bar since it got busy. He looked right back down, being pressed for a kamikaze shot by a brunette two seats away.

time is what keeps things from happening all at once __________________________
Eyes watched as the guy remained standing there. What a loser. There were so many different girls in this place so why just her. Gaze fell silent as she looked down. Arms crossed against her body as he stared at her. Was she attractive or something? She would have never thought she was so it always made her uncomfortable to be stared at. Bottom lip was biten extremely as she sat there.
Sam was always the type of girl that denied every comment about her being pretty or something of the sort. She just hated it when people said that they adore her or something of the sort. Whats the point to adoring a girl you just met? Its always pointless when your just going to get her number and than throw it away once you screw her. That what most guys think that she is worth. A number and then good sex.
Picking her head up once the guy behind the counter said something she watched as the guy shrugged and moved off quickly. Swallowing her breath she turned around slowly to look at the guy. Not bad. Looking away she let her frown grow into a smile.
" Thank you. "
Was the simple reply that slipped through her lips. Emerald eyes looked up to him before looking down again. She had the habit of not being able to keep her gaze lifted enough. She thought that if someone could look you straight in the eye was someone who would basically take your heart right out from under you. Well that was how she thought about it anyways because it all happened before to the girl.

Drew had fallen back into his work pretty quickly after taking charge of the guy harassing one of the younger women right in front of him. It had it's perks being unknown as the owner of such a rowdy place, and honestly made it easier to keep people in-line when he could sneak up on them still doing the wrong thing. He saw as he flipped his head to the side that the man had removed himself from the girl's side, and as he turned back, grabbing up the bottle of Absolut, he looked right at her, the icy blue eyes landing and holding her darker ones.
His smile was close-lipped when Drew heard her thank him, as he was pouring the vodka with his left hand into a double-shot glass set in front of him. Reaching out his right hand to her, he waited for her to shake it. I'm Drew, and, it wasn't a problem. His eyes shifted back down afterwards as he used his right hand to grab up th enext bottle of liquor from the well to his right, slinging the shot perfectly down the bar to it's owner.

She wasn't so sure about this place as of the moment. There were so many guys it made her panic. Sometimes to her it seemed that whenever she left any club a few guys followed her but she would always make sure to lose them. Most saw Sam as very alert and on edge. Maybe because her parents had brought her up to be like that. In the town that she lived in there was no one that she didn't know. It was a small community where everyone went to church on sunday and then most met up for breakfast at the local diner. Seemed to peaceful and it was.
Thoughts had run off for a minute but it seemed much longer. Snapping back into reality she turned quickly to look at the guy. Listening to his name her name seemed to grow. Reaching her thin hanf out she shook his own muscular before pulling back.
" Sam. "
Was the simple but soft reply. Emerald gaze apon his own blue ones before looking away. She usually wasn't able to stare directly at a person before it made her completely uncomfortable. Tongue ran over her lips gently as she looked around the club and then towards all the dancing people. Everyone just seemed to be grinding which really wasn't the girls style. Shrugging softly she turned her attention back to the guy infront of her.
