Forename;;
Imogen
Age;;

Appearance;;
When Imogen was young, she was always quite chubby. When she was born, she weighed almost 8 lbs and had a head full of fluffy blonde hair. Her dark eyes and blonde hair have always been a family trait from her mothers side. She grew up in the south of France and mainly because of that, she has olive skin and tans very easily, usually not even burning at all. As she grew up into a teenager, she was always healthy. Since she was a small child she did gymnastics and tennis as well as swimming occasionally and so even now she's extremely muscley. Although she was a gymnast, she stayed pretty chubby until she was around 13 and what with her growing up and puberty etc. the weight just seemed to drop off. She's always been healthy, she could live off vegetables and fruit, oh and of course chocolate but she barely eats from fast food restaurants, the thought of it makes her sick.
Nowadays, she stands at around 5''9 with long blonde hair, reaching normally just past her shoulder blades. Her eyes are always wide and whenever you see her, she almost always has a smile on her face. Her usual attire consists of jeans or short skirts and strappy tops. She changes her hair style all the time, sometimes its straight, others its wavey but shes never dyed it in her life. She loves her blonde locks and literally would guard them with her life. The only person she lets touch it is her hair dresser!
Personality;;
Cheeky, smart and stubborn. Three words that best describe Imogen Carlyle. Shes always joking, whether its sarcastically to piss you off or in a nice way, she just likes to get a reaction out of people. And no, that doesn't make her an attention seeker. Of course, she likes to be in the lime light. Most girls do. But she's not one of them girls who wants to be a footballers wife and have it all. She already has everything she wants. She gets male attention from her job, she has money, a nice house. She's spoilt rotten but she understands she has more than most and so she doesn't play on what she has. Most people get the wrong idea about her from her job but if people took time to get to know her they'd have a completely different opinion. Once you get to know her, you'll find she's probably one of the best friends you could have. She keeps secrets and although she finds it hard to trust people she expects people who she does trust to do the same for her.
Imogen is the kind of girl who hates being told what to do and how to do things. She likes to live life her way. Shes still young and maybe you could say shes naive not to listen to peoples advice but its just the way she is. It was the way her parents brought her up. Obviously, she listened to them, she was always the good girl, but they taught her to have strong ambitions and to follow them through and to this day its what her life's about. She's extremely strong minded, if she tells you shes going to do something and you try to persuade her not to, it'll be completely in vain and it'll probably offend her too. Its the way she is, she takes things to heart easily.
All in all, she's not what you'd call a boring person. She loves to have fun but she just likes to do it her way. Shes young, free and thats just how she likes it. If you know her, you'll know shes probably far from the girl whos going to get pregnant at 20 and ruin her life, she wants to do everything she can before settling down with a family and a husband although shes not against the young parent thing. She's very fiesty and a complete flirt which clashes with the idea that shes got morals but she knows what she's about and she'd never let someone mess her around. When she's with a guy, she'll make sure she's in control and she's the sort of girl to love you and leave you. You could say she has commitment problems and you wouldn't be wrong but she knows she'll settle down one day. When? Who knows!
Background;;
18th February 1987
The day little Imogen Carlyle was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, her fathers hometown. And boy, were her parents over the moon. She was their first child and their only girl, their little princess. She got everything she wanted, and she always would do. Her father, James Carlyle was a successful business man, and a pretty young one at that. He was just 22 when his little Immy was born and her French mother, Shannelle de la Verre was 20. They married a couple of months after her birth at a big ceremony on he outskirts of the city. All their family and friends were there to watch them tie the knot and it was probably the best day of their lives. Of course, Imogen doesn't remember, she was just a couple of months old but she's seen the pictures and it looked amazing, a real fairytale wedding.
When Imogen was almost 3, her parents decided to move back to Shannelle's home town of St. Tropez, in the south of France. They settled in there quickly and James went back to work, beginning his business over here whilst Shannelle stayed home to look after her young daughter and in time, their twin sons, Bailey and Frasier and then the youngest of the 4, their son Chase. All 4 of them attended high-class schools, all becoming A grade students. And aswell as doing well in school, they all excelled in out of school things too. Imogen was a gymnast and a tennis player, Bailey played Soccer and was a keen athlete, Frasier was a music genius and learnt to play the piano at a young age and Chase played Cricket and Rugby. They were an extremely happy family, in public anyway.
When Imogen was around 8 and had been living in France for almost 6 years, she noticed a real change in her mother. James seemed to work longer hours and often didn't come home until long after the children had gone to bed and when he did come home, they fought. Imogen lay in bed hearing their shouts and the smashing of ornaments, plates and pictures. Shannelle became alot more angry and violent and began to hit Imogen often. Imogen, being just 8. obviously didn't realise this was caused by the large amounts of alcohol Shannelle was consuming but James soon worked it out. This of course sparked more rows between her parents on the odd occasion where her father came home early and saw his daughters red and tear-stained cheeks. But even that didn't bring him home earlier, and still the 4 children continued getting the full force of their mothers alcohol-induced mood swings.
On the day of Imogen's 16th birthday, she wasn't having a party like most girls her age, she was on the way to a Gymnastics competition in Marseille. Her mother had offered to drive her there, much against the young girls wishes and she'd left the boys at home in the car of their father. Imogen was sat listening to the radio, her head resting against the seatbelt when she looked up at her mother. "Mama, Êtes-vous bien?" "Mom, are you okay?" She asked, watching her mothers head dip and her eyes closed. Shannelle's head came up, opening her eyes and looking at her daughter, a frown on her face. "Ferme-la, je suis très bien!" "Shut up, I'm fine!" Shannelle snapped, focussing on the road once more. Imogen rolled her eyes, resting her head on the seatbelt strap again, looking out of the side window. A few minutes later, she looked back at her mother to see her doing the same thing again. This time she shook her arm but she didn't wake up, her head just fell against the steering wheel and before Imogen knew it, the car was headed for a tree on the side of the road. She tried to pull the steering wheel but it was too late and the car smashed into the tree.
Imogen fell unconcious almost straight away, her head jolted forwards and then back against the seat. Shannelle didn't wake up either and the pressure of her head on the wheel made the horn sound constantly. The next thing Imogen knew, she was in an ambulance, the sirens going and paramedics all around her. "Où est ma mère?" "Where is my mom?" She asked, tears running down her cheeks and a thumping pain in her head. The paramedic put his finger to her mouth, shushing her gently and stroking her hair to comfort her. She did as he said and stayed quiet, closing her eyes again to see the crash play out again in her mind. It just made her cry harder. Within hours, her father and brothers were by her side. She was smiling again but she still didn't know where her mother was. She looked at her father, "Where's mom?" She asked, in english. It was a common thing in their house. To their mom all of them spoke french, to their father, they spoke english. Imogen was better at the english side, being born in the USA but she was also good at french, having learnt it from a very young age but her brothers were mainly french, having lived there all their lives. Her dad looked at her, he didn't seem upset at all. "She's fine, she banged her head hard, she hasn't woken up yet baby, but the doctors said she'll be fine." He replied, stroking her long blonde hair. She smiled sitting up to wrap her arms around him.
A few days later, she was back home, a broken wrist and 8 stitches in her forehead. But she was more or less back to her old self, playing with Bailey and Frasier in the garden. A week later when Shannelle returned home, the whole truth came out. The police questioned her and arrested her for drunk driving and causing harm by dangerous driving. She made James tell the children everything, although Imogen was really the only one who understood. "Daddy's been seeing someone else, another lady. Thats why mommy's been angry. She started drinking lots of alcohol and thats why she hit you and thats why she passed out when she was driving. She might go to prison for it, I don't know." He explained and although Imogen was sort of upset about her dad, she was more upset about her mom. But she didn't want to see her again. Shannelle was given 3 months in prison and when she went, James took it as his chance to get away. He sold the house in St Tropez and took himself, and his family back to America. So California was where they chose, her, her father and her brothers. She hopes she can just forget about her past but its been more than 3months now, and shes sure her mom must be out of prison. She hasn't heard from her but she has a feeling her father has. But he has a whole new life now, he's engaged to his new woman and now shes about to get a whole new family too as she has 4 kids. So how will life turn out for her now shes in California?
